These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Edura school management platform ("the Platform") operated by Edura (operated by Sorveo Solutions Limited) ("Edura", "we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Edura is a cloud-based school management platform that enables schools to manage student records, attendance, academic results, report cards, fee collection, staff management, parent communication, and related school operations.
Access to certain features depends on the subscription plan selected by your school.
School accounts are created by a school representative who becomes the initial school administrator. The school administrator is responsible for managing user accounts within their school.
User accounts (for staff, students, parents) are created by the school administrator. Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

Edura offers subscription plans with different feature sets and student limits. Details of current plans and pricing are available on our website.
Schools may start with a free trial period. After the trial, a paid subscription is required for continued access. If a subscription expires or is cancelled, the school's account enters read-only mode — data is preserved but cannot be edited until a subscription is renewed.
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (Paystack and Stripe). Edura does not store full payment card details.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.
The Platform, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Edura (operated by Sorveo Solutions Limited) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Schools retain ownership of all data they enter into the Platform. Edura does not claim ownership of school data.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our prior written consent.
We aim to provide a reliable and available service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance, updates, or improvements that may temporarily affect availability.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the data processing practices described therein.
Edura acts as a Data Processor on behalf of schools (Data Controllers) for school-managed data. For Edura account and billing data, Edura acts as the Data Controller.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Schools may cancel their subscription at any time through the billing dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or fail to pay subscription fees after the grace period.
Upon termination, school data is retained in read-only mode for a reasonable period. Schools may request data export or permanent deletion by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
